Patients can now complete secure forms for new patient intake, prescription renewals, appointment requests and more from a clinician’s website
Monday, June 1, 2015 – Toronto, ON – Today at the 2015 e-Health Conference, CognisantMD launched Ocean eRequests, making it possible for healthcare professionals to securely collect information from patients online and add it to the patient record in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The most recent addition to the Ocean Platform, eRequests offer “website self-service” for patients, allowing them to request an appointment or prescription renewal, complete new patient intake forms, participate in clinical research, or complete any medical form, without risking a breach in patient health information.
